"Runaway Dog"
Turns out Bohem C'est La Vie, the missing whippet show dog, was actually afraid to go through with a breeding arrangement. Shown here: the conniving show dog watching the media frenzy-snickering at the resources spent by the worrying, desperate world. Meanwhile, in an unrelated story, a non-show dog was fried by negligent ConEd electrical lines in the same city. Doggie bias?
Bohem C'est La Vie: "I felt trapped, scared."

Pretty sneak sis. I clicked read the rest, but alas there was no more.
Hey, I should just be thrilled you tried.
Isn't that from Connect Four?
Damn this quest to avoid cold medicine.
ahhh the old man bites dog story............. i'm sure that doesn't apply here, but i just wanted to write it.
CNN also reports that C'est La Vie's sweater was also lost or damaged during this horrific event. One of the owners owner was so distraught and concerned, she told authorities that the show dog was worth over $100,000. She thought that might get the search helicopters out faster. Kudows to CNN and other news outlets for giving us hourly reports on this story. As for the mutt that was electrocuted.. hmm well that dog wasn't insured.
And people willfully pay money for this type of up-to-the-minute news. Who says real journalism is dead?
Hey, Bohem C'est La Vie looks kinda blond to me - enough blond for a media frenzy, especially if Rita Cosby was on the story.
As for the ignored electroluted mutt, it couldn't have been blond, maybe it was black.
Impotence abounds among the elite of the show dog world. It perfectly mirrors human society.
Natlie Halloway is finally off the ticker.make way for show dogs on the run. Do you blame the dog? they probably give it dog colonics.
When will you silly liberals learn? This whole "Missing Whippet" story was the proverbial "shiny object," meant to distract you from...
Hey! Look over there! It's TomKat!
...I've said too much already.
Runaway brides to runaway dogs...anything to avoid a runaway presidency.
sounds like an instance of devolution to me ... whippet good ... I think the show dog escaped its life of bondage and exploitation ... couldn't take the prospect of one more aging souse pervert dog judge caressing its ass in front of thousands while remaining completely subservient ...
as to the shiny object comment ... I thought that was Cheney's forehead ...
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the dog and his family
I'm sorry but like I said to LOC, I saw three news stations in a row while flipping- with that damned dog. Not that I blame the dog...
Yes, please, let's not get into a "blame the dog" scenario. That would be just downright CRUEL.
Oh, and Mr. Rex Kramer, aren't you, of all people, aware that TomKat no longer exists? At least according to MY reliable sources, they're SPLITSVILLE.
Where ya been, dude? I'm starting to question your Dangerousity !!!
;)
Wow. Thanks, Lily, for including me on your list of Major Shareholders. It's a bit overwhelming ... I'm beginning to feel a bit of, uh, shall we say "performance anxiety." I know I can't quite keep up with the rest of y'all ... but I will do my best.
And yes, I do agree there is a bit of a "chick deficit" on-line ... is it true that even Wonkette is now a man???
Hrummph ...
Onwards and Upwards with Chick Blogging ...
Yes, Wonkette IS a man. CNN (lacking for things to cover like ongoing genocide, global warming, etc.) did a piece on Wonkette and how Wonkette is a man now. You'd be surprised how many blogs have ghost writers, have people that write posts for a fee or cut of advertising money. Some even get paid by traffic patterns. Typical capitalism at work! What you see is not always what you get.
I say:Step one is to abandon the idea of 'keeping up' as women because men do not establish the bar,or the parameters, or the standard. Keeping up is a patriarchal notion that my girlie brain rejects...I think everyone has a valid voice, valid opinion, valid perspective. Some of us are informed by our intuitive grasp, some by education, some by work experience, some by observing loved ones, some by reading, studying, learning any way they can. As I've said many times, in the blogosphere our words must speak for themselves and that IS intimidating but can be freeing as well.
Some of the sharpest people I know are not formally educated but have taken charge of their own learning, and methods of inquiry. Maybe that gives them an edge?
Losing the 'Noose' is also about throwing away stereotypes and dictated 'value'.
